Trent Rockets vs Sunrisers Leeds: How Their Women’s Hundred Knockout Records Compare

The stage is set at the iconic Lord’s as Trent Rockets will take on Sunrisers Leeds in the final of the ongoing Women’s Hundred on August 16. The Sunrisers will head into the game with the sole aim of defending the title that they won in the last edition in 2025. It was their maiden Women’s Hundred title, although they were then known as the Northern Superchargers; a name they carried from 2021 to 2025.
Interestingly, on three occasions Sunrisers Leeds have gone past the group stage and qualified for the knockouts. They have maintained a strong record in the knockout stages, winning four of their five games so far.
Sunrisers Leeds’ Women’s Hundred knockout record so far
2023 (as Northern Superchargers) – Won the Eliminator vs Welsh Fire, Lost to Southern Brave in the final
2025 (as Northern Superchargers) – Won the Eliminator vs London Spirit, Won the final vs Southern Brave
2026 – Won the Eliminator vs Southern Brave

On the other side, this will be Trent Rockets’ maiden final. In six seasons so far, this is only the second time they have managed to get through to the knockout stage.
The first time was in 2022, when they lost to Southern Brave in the Eliminator. This time, however, after topping the group stage, they earned direct entry into the final and are now set for only their second knockout clash in the history of the competition.

Hence, considering the numbers above, in terms of knockout experience, handling the pressure and delivering when it matters the most, Sunrisers Leeds would be the favourites heading into their second consecutive final and third overall. They are also enjoying a five-game winning streak heading into the summit clash.
But despite playing in their maiden final, Trent Rockets will be a team to beat. They have clearly dominated this season, losing only one of their eight group-stage games, and they are also entering the final on a six-game winning streak.

Two deserving teams will now lock horns at Lord’s. Will Sunrisers Leeds defend their title, or will Trent Rockets lift their maiden Women’s Hundred trophy? All will be revealed at Lord’s.
